Adeola's hack to easy Community Management

#Part1

Adeola used to love being a community manager. She had started a small online group for like-minded individuals passionate about sustainable living. It was a joy to watch the community blossom, filled with lively discussions, shared tips, and a supportive spirit. But as the group grew to 3,000 members, the joy turned into a constant struggle.

It started subtly. Every time she sent a message, her phone would buzz with notifications, turning it into an overwhelming mess. Leaving the group for a few hours meant returning to a flood of messages – 200+ to catch up on, skimming to the end felt like the only option. The initial spark of excitement began to dwindle under the weight of managing such a large group.

Monetization, a thought that never crossed her mind initially, became a tempting solution. But exploring options within the chat app felt clunky and inauthentic. Moderating content also became a herculean task and maintaining a positive and productive environment proved impossible with such a large group. Negativity eventually spiraled out of control, The stress of searching through one long chat for specific messages, like birthday wishes, added another layer of frustration.

Disillusioned and exhausted, Adeola felt discouraged. The lack of structure, limited features, and increasing stress had shattered her vision of a thriving online community. She longed for a solution that wouldn’t turn her phone into a chaotic mess, allow her to connect with her members meaningfully, and even help her turn her passion into a sustainable venture.

One day, with a heavy heart, Adeola had to make a difficult decision – she shut down the group. The dream of a thriving online community turned into a burden.

Adeola’s story is not unique. Many community managers face similar challenges. The initial excitement of fostering a vibrant space can quickly get crushed by the limitations of traditional chat platforms. It’s time for something better, a solution that empowers community managers, not overwhelms them.
